Jordan K. Inafuku

Attorney

Jordan K. Inafuku is a trial and litigation attorney who represents individuals, families, businesses, public entities, nonprofit organizations, and Native Hawaiian organizations in personal injury matters and complex civil disputes, including commercial litigation, construction and real estate disputes, municipal and public-sector matters, employment disputes, and matters involving Native Hawaiian rights. His work has been recognized by both Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers.

 

Jordan handles matters from early investigation through trial and appeal by combining vigorous factual development, careful legal analysis, and disciplined focus on what the client needs the litigation to accomplish. He has participated in jury and nonjury trials in Hawaiʻi state courts, litigated matters in federal court, argued before the Ninth Circuit, and briefed matters before the Supreme Court of the United States.

 

Jordan received his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law. He served as a Managing Editor of the University of Hawaiʻi Law Review, was a judicial extern to Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald of the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court, and received the John S. Edmunds Award for Civility and Vigorous Advocacy. At the national Native American Moot Court Competition, he received Second Best Team honors and was named Best Oral Advocate.  A graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapālama and Stanford University, Jordan was a member of Stanford’s 2010 NCAA championship men’s volleyball team. He remains active in the Hawaiʻi volleyball community as a club coach and as the Program Head for Boys Volleyball at ʻIolani School.
