Dawn Nekoba

Dawn Nekoba has more than 20 years of experience working in Hawaii’s legal community.  After graduating from William S. Ricardson School of Law, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael Wilson. This led to a career at the Office of the Public Defender, where for 14 years she practiced in Honolulu district, family, circuit, and appellate courts. Prior to joining Alapa & Otake, she worked at the Hawaii Supreme Court.  

 

Dawn is a proud graduate of Hawai‘i Baptist Academy, where she has had the privilege of being a HSBA Mock Trial Coach for the HBA team.  She serves on the HSBA Senior Counsel Division as an Oahu Director.  Outside the office, she is an avid traveler and regularly voluteers with the Hawaiian Humane Society.

 

She primarily practices in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury.
