Andrew S. WinerMr. Winer is a summa cum laude graduate of UCLA and the University of California Boalt Hall School of Law where he was the editor-in-chief of the Industrial Relations Law Journal. Mr. Winer practiced law with Carlsmith Wichman Case Mukai & Ichiki and McCorriston Miho & Miller in Honolulu before forming Winer & Meheula.

Mr. Winer's practice emphasizes personal injury, professional liability, construction and insurance litigation. As a litigator, Mr. Winer has represented clients in over 100 trials, arbitrations and mediation proceedings in subject areas including motor vehicle accidents, premises and beach liability, products liability, legal and real estate agent malpractice and construction defects. Mr. Winer has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and was selected for the Best Lawyers Consumers Guide.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Winer has an active practice as a mediator and an arbitrator. Currently, he serves on the Distinguished Neutrals Panel of the Dispute Prevention & Resolution, the Labor Panel for the Hawaii Labor Relations Board and the Court Annexed Arbitration Program panel.

Mr. Winer is active in bar association activities. He is currently the Treasurer of the Hawaii State Bar Association as well as co-chairperson of HSBA's Professionalism Committee. He previously served as a director for the Hawaii State Bar Association, president of Hawaii Lawyers Care and president of the Young Lawyers Division of the Hawaii State Bar Association. Mr. Winer is a member of the American Bar Association, the Consumer Lawyers of Hawaii and the American Trial Lawyers Association. At present, Mr. Winer is also chairperson of the ABA's Automobile Law Committee of the Torts and Insurance Practice Section.
